No affiliation with TradingView or Pine Script.

PineScripter is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with TradingView, Inc. or Pine Script. "TradingView" and "Pine Script" are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here for identification and descriptive purposes only.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PineScripter website and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, by clicking to accept these Terms (including any checkbox presented during sign-up), or by otherwise indicating your acceptance, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.

2. Service Description

PineScripter is a code generation tool that provides an AI-assisted environment to help users draft, refine, and understand TradingView Pine Script (v6) code. Outputs may include code snippets, explanations, and suggestions.

PineScripter is a Developer Tool and Code Generator, NOT a Financial Advisor or Investment Advisor.

The Service translates your trading logic and strategy descriptions into Pine Script code. You are the sole author of the strategy logic; PineScripter merely converts your instructions into code syntax. The Service is provided for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute investment, financial, or trading advice. We do not recommend, endorse, or guarantee the profitability of any trading strategy or code generated through the Service.

No Professional Advice; Assumption of Risk.

Nothing on the Service is, or should be construed as, financial, investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice. PineScripter is powered by third-party AI large language models, which can produce output that is incomplete, inaccurate, or that does not perform as you intend. You acknowledge and agree that trading and investing involve substantial risk of loss, that you may lose some or all of your capital, that past performance and backtest results are not indicative of future results, and that you use any code generated through the Service entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all code before relying on it, and for any decisions you make and any outcomes that result. You should consult a qualified, licensed professional before making any financial decision.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is permitted under the laws and regulations that apply to you.

4. Usage Limits

Usage limits may apply to all plans to protect system integrity and fair use. We reserve the right to modify plan features, limits, or pricing at any time without notice.

5. Subscriptions, Payments, and Billing

Paid plans (when available) may be offered on a subscription basis. Prices, features, and limits are subject to change. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge applicable fees and taxes. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law or as described in our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not misuse, abuse, or attempt to disrupt the Service, including rate limits or security controls.
  • Do not submit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or violate any third-party rights.
  • Do not use outputs for illegal purposes or as investment advice; always review code before using in live trading.
  • Respect TradingView's and other platforms' terms when using or publishing generated code.

7. User Content and Generated Outputs

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, display, and use the content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are the sole author of all trading strategy logic and decisions. PineScripter merely translates your instructions into code syntax.

AI-generated outputs may be similar to content generated for other users. We do not claim ownership over your specific outputs; however, we may store outputs for quality, safety, and product improvement unless you opt out where available. You are solely responsible for verifying and using outputs safely and lawfully. Any trading decisions, strategy parameters, or logic implemented in the generated code are your sole responsibility.

AI-Generated Explanations Disclaimer:

The Service provides AI-generated plain English explanations of Pine Script code. These explanations are generated automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete descriptions of what the code actually does. The explanations are provided for educational and informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole source of understanding. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the actual code to ensure it performs as intended. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated explanations.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, UI, branding, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by PineScripter and its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services

We may integrate third-party services (e.g., authentication, analytics, payment, hosting, and AI model providers). Your use of those services may be subject to additional terms and policies from those providers.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

  • We do not warrant that generated code is accurate, complete, non-infringing, or error-free, or that it will compile or perform as expected.
  • We do not warrant that AI-generated explanations of code are accurate, complete, or correctly describe what the code does. Always verify code functionality independently.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or trading advice. Trading involves substantial risk of loss, and past performance and backtest results are not indicative of future results.
  • We do not control third-party platforms (e.g., TradingView) or third-party AI model providers; compatibility, behavior, and availability may change.
  • PineScripter is a code generation tool, not a financial advisor. We do not provide trading recommendations, market predictions, or investment advice.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. In that case, such warranties are limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PineScripter and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, without limitation, any trading or investment losses or other financial outcomes resulting from code generated through the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ten (10) USD. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PineScripter harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service (in whole or part) at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Force Majeure

PineScripter shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, epidemics or pandemics, strikes, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, or failures of third-party service providers (including AI model providers, cloud hosting, and payment processors).

In the event of a force majeure, our obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the event, and we shall use reasonable efforts to resume performance as soon as practicable.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, shall be severed from these Terms. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision, and all remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PineScripter regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including your right to file a lawsuit in court and to have disputes heard by a jury.

Governing Law. These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws applicable to PineScripter's place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except to the extent mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide you greater protection.

Informal Resolution First. We want to resolve concerns without formal proceedings. Before filing a claim, please contact us through the support widget on our site and give us at least sixty (60) days to resolve the matter informally.

Binding Arbitration. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally shall be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration body. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. This does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in court for intellectual-property infringement or unauthorized access to the Service.

Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all claims must be brought in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. You and PineScripter each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class or representative action.

Severability of This Section. If the class-action waiver or any part of this section is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim shall be severed and may proceed in court, while the remainder of this section continues to apply. If you reside in a jurisdiction that does not permit mandatory arbitration or these waivers, this section applies only to the extent permitted by the laws of that jurisdiction.

19. Simulated Strategy Results

When you run a strategy simulation in PineScripter, the Service replays your script against historical market data and reports what that script would have done on that data. Every figure it reports is calculated from data that already exists.

A simulated result can be inaccurate, and it can be wrong in ways that are not obvious from reading it. It is an approximation produced by our own software, it may contain errors, and it may differ from what the same script would do on a live market or on any other platform. You should not rely on a simulated figure as a statement of fact, and you should not use one as the basis of a financial decision.

Past results never mean that future results will be the same. This is true of a simulated result and of a real one.

No order is placed, and no trade takes place. The Service does not connect to a broker or an exchange and places no live orders and no paper orders of any kind.

No past result and no simulated result is a representation of future outcomes. A simulation describes one script against one set of historical data and says nothing about what any market will do next. Market conditions change, and a script that produces one set of figures on historical data can behave entirely differently on data it has not seen. Nothing in a simulation report is an estimate, a projection, or a forecast, and nothing in it should be read as one.

20. Developer Tool, Not a Broker or Adviser

PineScripter is a developer productivity tool. Its purpose is to help you write, edit, and inspect Pine Script code, and the strategy simulation exists so that you can see how the code you wrote behaves. It provides no investment advice, no financial advice, and no trading advice, and nothing it produces is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything.

PineScripter is neither a broker nor an adviser, and it acts in neither capacity. It does not hold your money, does not execute orders, and does not manage anything on your behalf.

You are solely responsible for every decision you take after reviewing a simulation, including any decision to trade.

You should consult a qualified, licensed professional before making any financial decision, and you should not treat a simulation as a substitute for that advice.

21. No Warranty of Accuracy and No Parity With TradingView

Simulation results are provided "as is". We give no warranty, express or implied, that any simulated result, statistic, trade list, or equity curve is accurate or complete.

The simulation is our own. Results may diverge from the results TradingView produces for the same script, and divergence arises from three categories of cause: the market data source, which is our own historical data rather than the data the other platform uses; bar aggregation, meaning how individual price bars are built and which bars a script therefore sees; and order execution assumptions, meaning when an order is treated as filled, at what price, and with what trading costs applied.

No parity with TradingView output is promised, offered, or supported. A difference between a PineScripter simulation and a TradingView result is not a defect in the Service, and we do not undertake to investigate or reconcile such differences.

22. Acceptable Use of Simulation Compute

Charting and simulation consume computing resources, so the following limits apply to each account.

  • Historical market data requests are limited per account to 20 an hour on a free trial account, 60 an hour on Mini, 200 an hour on Pro, 500 an hour on Ultra, and 1,000 an hour on Power. Data we already hold for a request is served without counting towards this limit.
  • One simulation runs at a time in a given chat. Starting another simulation in that chat stops the one already running.
  • A single simulation covers at most 5,000 price bars and stops if it has not finished within two minutes.

The following uses are prohibited.

  • Starting a simulation from anywhere other than the PineScripter interface, including by calling our servers directly or by driving the Service with a script, a bot, or any other automated means.
  • Circumventing, or attempting to circumvent, any of the limits above, including by spreading requests across multiple accounts.
  • Operating the simulation as a service for anyone else, whether or not you charge for it, and whether or not the results are passed on.

If you reach one of the limits above, the Service declines further requests until that limit resets and tells you when to try again. Reaching a limit deducts no credits and changes nothing else about your account.

If you breach this section, we may reduce your limits, suspend your access, or terminate your account under the Termination section of these Terms. A suspension or termination for breach of this section does not entitle you to a refund, a credit, or an extension of any paid entitlement, and any unused credits on the account at that point are forfeited.

23. Third-Party Market Data

The historical market data used by the chart and by strategy simulation is Binance BTCUSDT spot data, and Binance is its source. PineScripter requests that data from Binance through our own server rather than from your browser, and stores it briefly so that repeated requests for the same data do not have to be fetched again.

The data is provided to you as is. We do not warrant that it is complete, continuous, accurate, or available, and Binance may change, restrict, or withdraw access to it at any time without notice to us or to you. Gaps, corrections, and periods of unavailability are possible, and a simulation run on data with a gap in it will reflect that gap.

You may use the data only inside the Service, to review your own scripts. Redistributing, reselling, republishing, or otherwise passing on the data, in whole or in part, is prohibited.

24. No Affiliation With TradingView

PineScripter is an independent product and is not affiliated with TradingView, Inc. PineScripter is neither endorsed by nor certified by TradingView, and no part of the Service is reviewed, approved, or supported by TradingView.

The strategy simulation in PineScripter is our own simulation, built and computed by PineScripter. It is not TradingView's Strategy Tester, it does not run TradingView's code, and it produces its own results.

TradingView and Pine Script are trademarks of TradingView, Inc. They are used here only to identify the platform and the programming language that the Service works with.
